Angie’s Story

  • Breast Augmentation

  • Full Anchor Lift

My journey started about 2 years ago – when I told my husband that I wanted a boob job. At the time, I didn’t realize how bad my breasts were!  So I was more than excited to get this done.

I went on one consult and the plastic surgeon I consulted with ended up scarring the heck out of me with saying that if I didn’t want a lift, he had the ability to make me look like Dolly Parton!  Needless to say when we left his office we ended up throwing all the paperwork away.  My dear husband found the forum and shortly thereafter I started talking with some of the members and realized I wanted this more than I ever knew.  A few members from the forum had recommended Dr Horn of LakeShore Plastic Surgery, as I had asked for some referrals.  I made my appointment immediately, went on the consult and two days later scheduled my surgery!

I had my surgery May 25, 2007 at 7:30 am.  I had a lollipop lift and the scars are healing fairly well.  Had to go back for some bleaching cream and if the scars still do not look like I want them to then in October or November - I will consider a redo/scar revision.  Currently I have 330ccs. Left and 345ccs. Right - Inamed Saline Moderate Plus implants.  I went from wearing a Victoria Secret 34C to a 32DDD/E.

I ended up having to take 10 days off from work to recover, however the recovery went very smooth and was not eventful at all.  Dr. Horn had prescribed pain medication for me; however there was no real pain associated with the procedure, just mainly pressure. I ended up taking the pain medication only because they were prescribed.  Unfortunately I got very sick with this medication and stopped taking them soon after.

This is my story.  Now I want to help others!

Dr. Horn is a great surgeon, no personality, but awesome at what he does.  His staff is great!

Still contemplating a redo for more upper pole fullness and to close the gap in cleavage area, and considering the size of 450ccs. to 480ccs. or maybe even 510ccs., but nothing larger than that.

Dr. Michael Horn - Chicago, Illinois
