Default Saw PS today, stage 2 surgery date!

I had a really good follow up appt with my PS today(first time I've seen him since the week after surgery!) . My PS is very pleased with everything except my belly is very swollen and he wants me to wear a compression garment(fun...not) I wasn't sure if I was very swollen because my belly is pretty flat but yet when I touch it, you can see the white fingerprints and it's pretty hard(but I don't know if that's normal or not). Well, I knew the bottom part is swollen--instead of Ken doll, I have a GI Joe--lol.
I am having the second surgery April 27th and that will be the nips, some lipo and shaping of the final breast shape. This upcoming surgery is pretty short but oh-so important. Then I'll wait until after the Summer to get the aerolas and nips tattooed.
Any compression garments you like? Not that anyone really likes them! I hear spanx and assets are good. Should I wear my correct size or bigger or
smaller(no way-uh,uh!)
Im soooo excited about the second stage!!

Thanks Vikki! I did ask him about spanx and he said that might be enough for now. He'll put me in something else at the stage 2 surgery. He doesn't give you a huge amount of info to work with and so when I got home, I looked online and see many kinds of shapers, too many! I see ladies on the other boards liking the spanx higher power but I don't need or want the thigh support. I hope Bailey chimes in about this!

I would not wear anything that is so tight that it causes discomfort. I stayed in my compression garments 6 weeks and then 6 more weeks in the brief like tummy control for the lower area of swellin' Ken Doll GI Joe...

Good to hear UR nearin' the end of UR journey....will be thinkin' 'bout you and hope all goes well. Pat just finished up her last stage not to long ago.

Call me weird but I actually liked the support I got while wearin' them...
Hugs doll Keep us posted K?

Not weird, I've seen other ladies say the same thing. I wore tights today that had a control top to them and it actually felt pretty good. At least until I took em off and then it felt not so good (as the blood rushed back to the area, I guess?) I can't imagine how a real spanx type thing will feel.

I can't stop smiling! I haven't had nipples since Aug 2006--I can not wait to look in the mirror and see normal breasts instead of Barbie boobs! I'll just have to remember not to flash everyone that even remotely expresses an interest in my surgery lol

I'm glad you had a good appointment with your PS. I wore a compression garment for quite a few weeks after surgery and then switched to a Spanks type of garment although mine was cheaper and I got it at Target.

Congratulations Bay!!!!!! I am so happy for you - that your surgery is done and you are doing good. When is your second stage surgery suppose to be done? My sister goes in April to have her nipple/areola complex reconstructed

There are lots of great compression garments.

This is from the new website I am working on hon - hope this helps you some.
