I have to say Norma - you're taking the high road! Don't know if I could've kept my mouth shut. My MIL is ok for the most part, but she can't take a gift. So tomorrow ought to be good. DH wants to do something a little extravagant for her for Christmas. It'll be an argument.

OMG hahaha Are we related LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I swear it sounds like my family...... I took a video of our"dinner" last night after... and i just sat there laughing to myself how people would never believe it really does happen LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TYpical Italian dinner... everyone talking at the same time a few looking at each other( me n my niece) laughing at the craziness of it all.. the kid(my great nephew) screaming laughing jumping running through the house...and every one Soooooooooo loud...................Now this part is even better.. visualize this.. I smoke and a few in my family smokes..cant smoke in the house... it was freezing outside and in the garage.. we Can however smoke blowing the smoke up the chimney LOL so there i am on the floor in my mini dress/boots which i finally took off. bent over blowing smoke up the damn chimney .. LOL im sure quit attractive but hey whatever works~ But kels that is just the type of stuff you would hear at my familys house LMAO!!!!!!!

Norma Sorry you are dealing with this problem. Your MIL is just jealous of you. My MIL was also a problem but my DH and I compromised on her visits. She was allowed to visit for 7 days, and I would be very nice and polite and put up with her BS. On the 8th day I would put up a for sale sign and move out. My DH said this was a great idea as he was usually fed up with her by day 5.

That is awesome!! We have about 26-30 depending on if everyone brings b/fs and if all the kids can come due to who's day it is to have them .. could you imagine our two families together?! haha I wouldnt have it anyother way!!

Well, so far I have survived the first few days but it has really been tough! But between the heavy drinking and trips outside to scream, I only told her off once......so far! It was on Saturday night and Mark & I had just gotten in from this little club right on the beach that we had gone dancing at, and as soon as we came in the door there the witch I mean b@tch stood. DH was in jeans and an American Eagle Ruby shirt, and I was all slutted out of course! Had a Venus bright yellow crop halter top, my super low rise Brazilian Dorniha jeans, barefoot, and my 3 inch silver hoop earings, and a silver belly chain. She tells us, "So, you decided to bring your hoe in for the night, how much did she make for you?" Well, being half, ok I was sh@tfaced, I just let her have it. I told her that she could just take her f@uking skinny ass outside and that this "hoe" would whip her f@uking butt! Told her that I was f@ucking tired of her sh@t and if she didn't like it she could f@ucking leave! Well of course she just stared at me and walked away. But at least she knows where I stand. She has not said much to me since that so maybe I made my point!

Now what was your hubby doing whilst this took place - he should have told her to leave right then and there! Sorry to say, and please don't take offense, but I think he needs to find his cojones and stand up to her and stand up for you.

Really feel for you having to put up with that horrid biatch - that is just so disgusting. Your MIL is very abusive. I hate to see anyone abused. She obviously has some mental issues.

I tell ya, if anyone in my family disrespected my bf to even a quarter of the degree that your MIL is disrespecting you I would tell them "That's it. You're out. Now." Family or no family, no one treats anyone like that in my house.
