OH S**T says I to myself - WTF do I do now? So I grabbed about 5 feet of tp, wadded it up and stuck it on me, & put the bra & shirt down over it. I cleaned up the wall too. Found DH, told him we have to go home RFN and told him why.
Got home, fixed myself up, took a pic of it & sent it to my PS -- he just emailed me back and said it looks either like it had been a very small hematoma that suddenly drained itself, or just one of those places that is a slow healer. But not to worry.
I am slightly traumatized but nothing that a nice dinner out won't fix. Jeez, what a day!

OMFG, I would have been so freaked out. I am so glad the ps said all was good. Keep an eye on it sweetie and let us know how you are doing? I will be thinking of you!

No, the hard breast tissue is right underneath the areola area; the PS said since there was so much work done there between BRs 1 & 2, that the blood supply wasn't quite so good there, and it will take up to a year for that area to soften up. It is softening up around the edges but the top of the pedicle is gonna be hard for awhile. But it doesn't affect the shape of the breast so I'm ok with that.

The PS office is a little over an hour away, on the other side of town. But he is the best PS in the area so I don't mind the trip.

About the suture .... well there was a wee piece sticking out and poking me and catching in my clothing and I thought, well, let's see if I can get that little sucker outta there, so I started pulling and OMG out came a foot. I do NOT recommend this course of action for anyone!!
PS said ... as he was laughing his a$$ off ... it was probably the long running stitch he puts in boobs at the end of surgery.

OMG, I would have fainted despite of dh expertise. Too much to bare personally. I'm so glad you're able to react and cope with the situation especially away from home. May angels watching over you for a successful and speedy recovery. Here are my concerns: Are you on antibiotics? Is he going to close the wound?

I hope you are ok hun, I know that something like this will scare the "f"ing daylights out of you. It did for me when I was doing my boob excersize 10 days post op and pop went my boob, about half a litre of fluid was all over me.
Hang in there hun. Keep us updated AND TAKE IT EASY!

OMG Anne, you are definately one strong lady!!! Glad you're gonna see your PS, put your feet up and CHILLAX... until then. I recommend no more pulling, poking or DIY suture removal Ohhhh the thought of it gives me the wobbles
