yes, i went submuscular. i think that was the most painful part of the whole thing!

Oh hun you are looking fabulous. You sound like you are doing so well. Remeber thugh you are on PRINCESS DUTIES! I bet your lil princesses are being such a BIG help to their mummy too.

Yeah they are. I breastfed my 2 yr old right up until surgery day! I haven't told anybody in my fam about my boobs, and she ruined the secret today. she told my in-laws that, "mommy's boobies are BROKEN!" the dh tried to play it off, but she continued with things like, "the doctor cut mommy's boobies off...they have blood" etc etc etc

LoL are kids great. My 6 year old son (then) told his grade 1 class for show n tell that mummy got new boobs, his teacher looked at me and I nodded. I was the teacher aide at the time.

I love how they put it n their own words too sounds so much more exciting

If you didn't catch my earlier post, I got smooth round mod profile 350. Filled 360 right, and 370 left. I was afraid my nipples would be messed up, and I prepared myself for the worst in my mind. My PS also warned me that I won't be happy for a year. But, I L-O-V-E them already. Check out the pics, and let me know what u think!

Oh, as far as the pain goes, I slept through the night last night w/o waking and needing meds. I woke up this morning, and actually forgot(at first) that I had surgery a few days ago. It's amazing. I really thought I could die friday. I can't believe I'm better already. I'm glad I am going back to work on Friday, I really didn't need a whole week!

Jessica, you do look so good! I thought I would have been more creeped out when I had my BL/BA done a few yrs ago, but it was so clinical. I'm sure you will heal real nicely, just take it easy and don't wreck your beautiful start!

Jessica.......didn't your PS know about this??? You are suppose to dry up your breast milk at least 6-8 weeks before you even think about having surgery. Is your milk still coming in??

The PS tell you this, because the chance of infection is high when they do surgery on breasts that are still lactating.

holy crap!!!!!! I just got this....I put on the sheet I filled out that i was still breastfeeding. he never said anything, so i assumed all was well. i feel like i got my milk in a few times, but he told me that's what it felt like. i was putting lotion on just a few days ago, and milk squirted out. am i in the clear now that i'm almost 3 weeks now????

wow Jess.......that is unbelievable.
Getting this surgery, even if you are dried up can stimulate the milk glands to product a little bit of milk.

Not sure what to tell you here hon.
