I had mine done on both sides it was a breeze. It was sore for about a week just felt like I bruised it and it was all done in the office with a local. But I was in Florida right after mine and was fine.

Girlie.......Anne and Jackie (I think) have had "dog ears" fixed before.

You might want to ask one of them.

I think it is relatively easy. Hope this helps

I had dogears fixed a few times and need them done again in a few months (long boring story ).

Mine were done in the PS office under local anesthesia (like novocaine); took about 30 minutes and were sore for awhile, but no big deal for me. If you would like more info or have questions feel free to PM me.

I wouldn't think your PS should charge U2 fix the dog ears. I'm not sure about the lipo tho, did you have lipo w/first procedure?

Does UR PS know that U R not pleases w/UR results.

Most of them want us to be happy w/our results, I know my PS does and I have a small dog ear on rt side due to bra line back lift and he will fix it for me in Nov when I have my last procedure my armlift/brachiopplasty.

HTH
Gllad to have U here w/US....Welcome

Robyn i tried to find a pic but found this..

Question
When there are dog ears or small surface elevations left over from a punch excision due to closing a circle as a line, what can be done for them? Do they flatten out on their own?
Answer
Usually over a few months, dog ears will flatten completely. If six months or more has passed and they do not a small revision can be done to correct them. I usually don't jump right in to fix them until time has passed because the scar will be a bit longer. This is also why making a bigger scar to start with to avoid the dog ear is usually not smart. If it usually flattens on its own, a smaller scar results.

Best

Ask your doc about slim-lipo. It shrinks the skin and sucks out fat - and is less invasive than another TT. It might be the answer for your ledge. I had more than dogears on my breast incisions - they were more like bear ears! LOL So it took more than an office procedure to remove them. My doc called them "mass" and insurance paid. There are pictures on my page. true dogears can be removed in the office. Good luck and it's nice to see you!

Mine were like a 3-cornered extra piece of skin sticking out at the ends of my incisions. Some dogears flatten out, but mine never did. I will try to take a pic of the ones I have now, and post them in my album.
